Cursed Crypt takes Ancient Egypt and filters it through a horror lens, complete with demonic versions of gods like Bastet, Sobek, and Anubis. The neon temple setting—all glowing hieroglyphics and menacing stone—feels more contemporary than historical, which works in its favour aesthetically. A zombie pharaoh presides over the reels, adding dark humour without veering into parody.

The mechanical core is the Cursed Reels feature. When triggered, an entire reel floods with a single symbol type—often a high-value icon. This dramatically increases the odds of forming large winning clusters. It's a clever inversion of typical wild mechanics; instead of one reel gaining wilds, one reel becomes homogenous, creating obvious win pathways.
