What Is Paysafecard?
Paysafecard is a prepaid PIN-based payment system. You purchase a voucher (denominations: €10, €25, €50, €100) from a newsagent, petrol station, or online. Each voucher has a unique 16-digit PIN. At a casino, enter the PIN in the cashier to transfer the voucher's value to your casino balance. No bank account, credit card, or personal financial data is shared with the casino.
How to Deposit at a Casino with Paysafecard
- Purchase a Paysafecard voucher in-store or at my.paysafecard.com
- Select Paysafecard in the casino cashier
- Enter the 16-digit PIN and the deposit amount (up to the voucher value)
- Funds land instantly in your casino account
You can combine multiple PINs for a single deposit if the total exceeds one voucher's denomination. The casino cashier will prompt for additional PINs if the first doesn't cover the amount.
Paysafecard Is Deposit-Only
This is the most important thing to understand: you cannot withdraw casino winnings back to a Paysafecard voucher. Winnings must be withdrawn via an alternative method — typically bank transfer, debit card, or e-wallet. Set up an alternative withdrawal method when you register to avoid delays when you want to cash out.
Limits
- Without a my.paysafecard account: €150 per transaction
- With a verified my.paysafecard account: up to €1,000/month
- KYC verification may be required for higher spending limits
Who Paysafecard Suits
Paysafecard works well for players who:
- Want to deposit without linking bank or card details to a gambling site
- Prefer a fixed spend limit per session (buy 50 voucher → can't overspend)
- Don't have access to a debit card or prefer not to use one
- Value anonymity (minimal personal data shared with casino)
It is less suited for high-volume players who need both deposits and withdrawals through a single method.
Fees
Paysafecard charges no fees for purchases within the same currency. A small inactivity fee applies if the voucher is unused for 12+ months. Casinos do not charge additional fees for Paysafecard deposits.
